About vPermit Virtual Permits.

The University of San Diego have switched to electronic permits (e-permits) and your vehicle license plate acts in place of a physical permit. You do not need to display a permit on your windshield.

A License Plate Recognition (LPR) software is being used for parking enforcement and data on parking space utilization. LPR captures and reads a vehicle license plate to confirm that the vehicle is registered and has permission to park on campus. Vehicle license plates must be unobstructed, affixed to the bumper, and visible from the driving aisle of a parking space to avoid receiving a citation.
